I need to lose a few pounds.
I'm thinking of trying something, sort of, maybe. My friend suggested trying a Kristi Approved meal plan for six days. I decided what the heck. Here it is. I am preparing my food all at once. Putting it in zip lock baggies, freezing or keeping it cold for the week and I'm NOT cheating. I'm eating every two to three hours. (I like that part!) I'm drinking lots of water with lemon in it. I've hired vicious wolf dogs to guard the candy drawers!!! We'll see.....

Cute Easter Tradition!
Now here is an idea you are not going to want to miss!
Saw it on Pinterest today!
This only works on the eve of Easter.
Get your magic jelly beans......
Plant them in the dirt!
In the morning, providing the gardner has done his work.
Look what you will find!
I can't take credit for this cute idea,
The credit goes to See Jane Blog!
Check Walgreens for the Lollipops, I think they have them there for a dollar... maybe... hopefully.
She had another good idea, now if I could only figure out how to plant a money tree!

How Does This Happen?
I probable wouldn't take time to note this, but I love photography and I'm rarely without a camera in my hands. After reading this, I'm sorry I didn't keep my first Kodak. How does an icon like Kodak go out of business? Read the whole flipin flapdoodle story! "Photography pioneer Kodak Files For Bankruptcy."

Help The Burrell Family
This is worth a post on my family and my personal blog. Meet Kasey and Natalie Burrell. This cute little family lives next door to my daughter Kaedell. Natalie use to be a Panunzio. She went to school with Em. Kasey is one of the Ogden City Police Officers who was seriously shot while attempting to serve a search warrant with his squad. The following letter was posted on facebook. Hope this helps.
Dear Friends and Family,
I would like to take a moment of your time and tell you about a dear friend of mine and the struggles he is now facing. Most everyone is aware of the tragedy that recently occurred within the Ogden City Police Department. One officer lost his life and 5 others were wounded.
He was shot in the head and the stomach. He was in intensive care for a week and has recently been upgraded to fair condition. His recovery period could last for several months to years.
Kasey and Natalie have 2 small children ages 5 and 2, with a baby girl expected to join their family in June.
I believe it would be very unfortunate if this families financial needs were not met. I want to be able to help them and I'm asking for your help in this effort. We all have been blessed well beyond our means, but I am not asking for anything that would put a burden on your family. I am asking for whatever amount you would feel comfortable with giving to this special family.
It is times like this that not only rally a community together but it blesses us all as we help those who are in desperate need.

The iPhone Mom (Because it's not your husbands iphone)
My nickname is MacMama and iLove anything Apple! Yes, iAm a Mac Head!
Years ago, my son, who was born a Mac lover finally talked me into trashing my old PC and switching over to the world of Mac. iRemember the whole experience as if it were yesterday. It was really scary, like standing on a cliff and leaping through the air into the unknown. By the way, we use to do that at Lake Powell until they made it illegal to plumet from any cliff into the water. My ultimate fear of heights kept me from jumping then, and iHad the same fear when iThought about abandoning my PC.
"Mom, just switch to Mac, you won't be sorry," Gav nagged. So finally iDid! iClosed my eyes, made the leap, called the Apple store, and purchased my first PowerBook G4.
iOnly had to open up the box and turn it on and iFell in love. iV'e been a Mac Head ever since. In fact when the new MacBook Pro came out, iSold my PowerBook G4 and bought the Pro.
Since that time Apple has become my world. My family all complains that iSpend more time on my Mac than iDo with them. iThink there are some serious jealousy issues going on!
When the first iPhone came out, my son was first on the waiting list. La tee da dee da!!! iWas second. Ok, so we weren't really first and second, but we jumped all over the new Apple iPhone as soon as we caught a glimpse of it.
iWas a T-mobile subscriber until iHeard about the iPhone. iCouldn't get to the AT&T store fast enough. iRan right over secured a family plan and signed us all up. That's it. The rest is history. We're a Mac family now!
A week or so ago my Mac Head son called me up and proceeded to tout his latest purchase. What planet had iBeen living on? iHadn't even heard about the new iPhone4. iGave my son a roil lecture for not keeping his precious mother informed, and promised him there would be serious repercussions if he didn't tell me how to order one immediately. I'm old, iNeed help with these things.
I'm now waiting for the white iPhone4 to come out in August. It's torture seeing MacGav and Caroline touching and fondling their new iPhones (grrrrr). iWanted one so bad iWas tempted to order the black. Being a practical woman though, and loving white like iDo, I'm waiting for my favorite color to make it's debut. i'M telling you, it's torture being practical!
Check out a new site iFound. "The iPhone Mom," iJust know i'M her kindred spirit, cause i'M definitely an iPhone mom too.
Have fun watching this new promo on the iPhone4 ---I'm warning you though, you're going to want one! Go on take the leap! Buy one today!

Blogging

Welcome to "All Flappdoodle!"
This is a blog designed for friends, old and new! Hopefully you'll drop by here often, enjoy yourself, and leave with something satisfying.
As you will soon discover I love to blog! Lots of people ask me, how do you have so much time to blog? My response is usually something about how I'm going through menopause and I can't sleep so I blog. I've also given up t.v. and a few other things.
Blogging is the first thing I do in the morning and the last thing I do at night. And like I said, it's also the thing I do in between when I can't sleep. I love to write. I love to put my feelings down on paper. I love to take life deeper than most --- it's a soulful thing and expressing my soul feels good!
In order to be a good writer one must practice. So welcome to rehearsal, the place where I am learning to polish arranging words in a formation that will bring enjoyment and deep thinking to any reader. This is me notifying you, I'm in training.
This blog is for the positive in life. I am hoping those who come here will contribute positively. It's also for the spiritual in heart, because life "is" spiritual, even though some have not discovered this yet.
What will people find here? Everything and anything, after all the title is, "All Flapdoodle." I hope you'll share, send me your good recipes for the kitchen, bettering relationships, and how to get that stubborn stain out of your shirt or your heart.
In closing, I'll leave you with a my favorite poem and hope you come back to this place soon.
How many, many friendships
Life's path has let me see:
I've kept a scrap of each of them
To make the whole of me.
